Job Description

This person will be responsible for Samsung VD, DA, PC, MX, NT & Medical. It is the goal to develop and grow MPS business by identifying high potential Samsung applications: TV, Living solution and other available applications. This person is to engage with FAE and distribution partners securing design wins incorporating MPS products and services. Suitable candidate has a sales background and customer knowledge established in Samsung support.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving all design-in activity and wins within assigned customer accounts.
  • Responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets.
  • Work closely with MPS product division marketing and engineering personnel to identify target applications/circuits to increase design wins and expand print at both new and existing customers.
  • Develop and grow management level and design engineering relationships at strategic customers.
  • Identify new customer targets to engage and expand the MPS customer base.
  • Self-motivated to work as an individual sales contributor in a field or home office.
  • Technical ability to learn entire MPS product portfolio and the "go to market" strategy for each product line.
  • Ability to engage strong sales personnel (including manufacturer representatives and channel partners)
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as active listening, collaboration, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and adaptability.
  • Ability to interface with MPS executive staff and product divisions to explain/defend key business strategies, revenue targets and customer situations within assigned territory.
  • Strong presentation skills to all levels of personnel (both customer and MPS internal divisions/executives.)

Requirements

  • Technical degree (minimum bachelors), preferably in an Engineering discipline or a proven track record of success in selling electronic components for 5+ years.
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel extensively 3-4 days per week.
  • Oral/written proficiency in English.
