Digital Operations / Website Manager
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Digital Operations Manager to own the end-to-end user experience on our website. You will be responsible for developing and executing a user experience strategy that drives conversion, enhances brand presence, and improves product discovery. This role combines strategic vision with practical execution, managing everything from high-level SEO and redesign projects to the tactical creation of new pages and troubleshooting front-end issues. You will be the key stakeholder for our website, translating business objectives into digital realities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership (30%)
- Develop and own the digital user experience strategy, aligning with overarching business and marketing goals.
- Define and manage KPIs for website success, focusing on site performance, SEO, product discovery, and user engagement.
- Act as the product owner for website improvements and updates, maintaining a development roadmap and backlog of initiatives.
- Lead small, highly specialized cross-functional groups including writers, designers, and developers to solve and execute web projects.
- Champion the user experience across all web properties, implementing best practices in usability, accessibility, and design.
Execution & Operations (50%)
- Content & Structure: Plan, update, and improve website pages, templates, and components within our website platform.
- Technical Management: Perform and coordinate quality assurance, stakeholder feedback, user acceptance testing of web content before publication.
- SEO: Implement and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and traffic.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address broken user flows, site errors, and performance bottlenecks to ensure a flawless user experience.
- Project Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, development, content, product marketing) to execute web projects on time and within scope.
Analysis & Optimization (20%)
- Analyze website engagement to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement A/B tests and other conversion rate optimization activities to improve site performance.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on website health and initiative progress.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- 5-10 years of experience in a web management, digital strategy, or digital product management role.
- Proven experience managing a B2B or complex corporate website.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, SEO, and conversion rate optimization.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms like Magento, WordPress, or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Working experience in front-end web development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills
Highly Desired:
- Experience leading a major website rebuild project.
- Experience with website localization.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
