Sr. Manager, Security Operations
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Security Operations that will strengthen threat detection and incident response, reduce business risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. You will provide strategic leadership to optimize security tools, establish repeatable processes, and develop a high-performing team, enabling the organization to minimize risk and scale securely.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the VP, Information Security.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
- Lead and mature security operations, including SOC, monitoring, and incident response.
- Oversee vulnerability management and ensure remediation of risks within Service level agreements.
- Build and run a threat intelligence program to identify and assess emerging threats.
- Partner with IT, Risk, and business units to embed operational security practices into enterprise processes.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of analysts and operations staff.
- Provide leadership reporting, dashboards, and metrics to demonstrate posture and risk reduction.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
- 8+ years in information security, with 3–5 years in security operations leadership.
- Knowledge of SOC technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR), vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Experience building or leading threat intelligence programs.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO, PCI DSS).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC preferred.
