You ensure that client plans are developed and executed, supporting the implementation of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the commercial measures and financial drivers necessary to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our clients, and you work with key account managers to implement plans aimed at achieving our annual target.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the commercial marketing aspect of annual category plans (contract process)
  • Understand market dynamics/consumer insight by channel to participate in strategic trade marketing decisions
  • Lead the activity planning meeting during which sales quotas are set to achieve annual plans based on relevant constituents
  • Suggest and influence investment in category constituents, based on category and channel needs, and take ownership of point of sale execution excellence
  • Monitor competitive commercial activity in the category to detect commercial opportunities and potential threats for the brand
  • Assume a leadership role within multi-category teams by leading, providing accurate and relevant information on point of sale that will allow finding commercial opportunities such as innovations, customer promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc. to achieve multi-category objectives

Profile and skills:

  • Category planning and growth creation through category management
  • Future-oriented mindset and curiosity for industry trends, digital solutions, and consumer innovation. Translating opportunities into commercial plans
  • Develop and implement plans, measure and control results, and formulate recommendations to achieve growth objectives
  • Commercial planning and how to maximize revenue growth
  • Influence stakeholders and interact effectively with others having the courage and resilience to support a different point of view
  • Analytical capabilities and business acumen
