What you need to know about this position:
The Divisional Sales Analyst handles all the collection, storage, analysis and redistribution of sales reports, the traditional mode of reporting is for the information to come in from the field and through our internal system via mail in excel format, its then analyzed and processed for various uses and then redistributed to the different teams who require it. This process is time consuming, and accuracy of the information generated isn't top notch. This is being done using spreadsheet (Excel). The work closely with the salesmen, ensuring report accuracy and timely reconciliation of numbers, they are also to provide their region accurate data and information to aid and improve business decision.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
1. Verification and Approval on software platform: There is an approval done on internal software, when sales transaction is uploaded by the data clerks in the distributor locations, the DSA's are to ensure the numbers align to the reports sent in via traditional method before approving.
2) Incident Management: They are to log and report all IS/IT related issues.
3) On Demand Analysis: They are meant to supply the DSM with timely and accurate information and all the happening in the division to facilitate informed business decision.
4) Software and Data Clerk Management: They are to work and manage the data clerk as regards postings on our software on a daily basis.
5) Report Reconciliation and Data collation management: They are to reconcile data on a daily basis. Sales Report tracking and Analysis: Sales forecast break and recasting, monthly stock reconciliation and monitoring.
Education / Certifications:
- 2-3 years' experience.
- HND or BSC in Business Administration or Computer Science background or any other related field.
Job specific requirements:
- Must have good excel skill.
- Must be good people manager with great deal of influence.
- Must have good communication skill.
- Must be a self-motivated person.
- Must be data friendly.
Travel requirements: Limited
