We are looking for an experienced and strategic Business Analyst Team Lead to join our Marketing Operations and Analytics group. In this role, you will be the owner of the "Marketing-to-Pipeline" journey. You will act as the bridge between marketing activities and sales success, leading the analytics strategy for our entire marketing funnel.
As a Team Lead, you won't just analyze data, you will define the agenda for marketing funnel measurement, lead a team of analysts, and partner with senior stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Product to drive growth. You will be responsible for defining how we measure the impact of every marketing touchpoint as it transforms into a lead and eventually into pipeline.
About The Role
- Own the Marketing Funnel Strategy: Lead the definition, measurement, and optimization of the entire marketing-to-lead journey. You will be the authority on how marketing activities correlate with pipeline generation and lead quality.
- Drive Data-Driven Decision Making: Build and maintain advanced monitoring flows to track business health. Translate complex funnel data into compelling, actionable visualizations and stories that empower senior leadership to make strategic decisions.
- Lead and Mentor: Manage and mentor a team of high-performing analysts. Set the bar for high-quality data work, establish best practices for coding and analysis, and foster a culture of curiosity and professional growth.
- Establish Funnel Ceremonies: Lead ongoing investigations into funnel leaks and performance issues. Facilitate recurring ceremonies with Marketing and Sales leadership to discuss performance, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.
- Build Measurement Frameworks: Develop KPIs and measurement engines that define success across all marketing channels. Ensure data structure alignment across various data sources (Marketing Automation, CRM, BI, etc.) to ensure a "single source of truth."
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with Product Marketing Managers, Campaign Managers, Sales Operations, and Data Scientists. Act as a strategic partner who identifies new growth levers and challenges the status quo.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in an analytical role at a SaaS/Tech company, with a demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives.
- Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, or guiding junior colleagues. You thrive when helping others level up their analytical skills.
- Funnel Mastery: Deep understanding of B2B/B2C marketing funnels, lead scoring, and pipeline attribution. You are comfortable defining the conversion path from "First Touch" to "Closed Won."
- Technical Excellence: Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in at least one popular BI tool (Tableau/Looker). Strong control of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Business Aptitude: Exceptional business acumen. You understand the nuances of SaaS revenue models and can connect marketing output to business bottom lines.
- Communication: A penchant for storytelling and data visualization. You can identify the "bottom line" in complex data sets and present it clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mindset: You are comfortable being both strategic and hands-on. You thrive in a hyper-growth environment and are comfortable with ambiguity.
- AI & Automation Experience (Advantage): Passion for redefining analytical workflows using AI. Practical, hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate coding and output. Proven experience building automated data processes or integrating LLM models to drive efficiency, scale reporting, and generate deeper business insights.
