The Infrastructure Services team seeks an experienced Senior Storage Engineer who will be responsible for the planning, delivery and performance of complex data storage and related systems in support of strategic business priorities. This includes managing and planning data storage and backup systems to agreed service levels; creating, improving, and supporting the optimal utilisation of storage resources; ensuring data security, availability and integrity of business data and developing standards, procedures and guidelines for implementing data protection and disaster recovery functionality for business applications and data. Critical to the success of the role is the ability to engage and influence senior level stakeholders, coordinating the planning for change and improvements to ensure the optimal delivery of system benefits aligned with user expectations.
Providing expert advice as a mentor and escalation point the Senior Storage Engineer will build capability by adopting and promoting best practice, policies and standards in relation to storage management, backup and security.
