Research Fellow role supporting innovative studies in traumatic brain injury

The Opportunity

Join a dedicated research team focused on improving understanding of long-term outcomes following traumatic brain injury as Research Fellow. This position plays a key role in the delivery of the Longitudinal Head Injury Outcome study through coordination and administration of cognitive assessments, interviews and questionnaires. The role also supports a range of related research activities including trial coordination, participant follow-up, data management and analysis and preparation of research outputs.

This position works closely with experienced researchers and clinicians, including the Director of MERRC, within a supportive and collaborative research environment. It contributes to the design and delivery of high-quality research while ensuring adherence to ethical and procedural standards. The role involves regular participant engagement and may include travel to participant homes, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach.

We are seeking candidates with qualifications in Neuropsychology or a related field, ideally with experience in cognitive assessment and research administration. Skills in data analysis, manuscript preparation and problem-solving will be important, as will the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
