✨ About The Role

- Responsible for owning several spacecraft electrical subsystems including power management hardware, battery packs, sensors, control modules, and communication hubs - Design, test, and build spacecraft bus system power management modules - Manage design documentation and work with the VP of Engineering and Chief Engineer to implement Avionics processes and best practices - Perform PCB schematic capture and layout, as well as detailed technical reviews of electronics design and PCB layouts - Assist in developing test plans for flight qualification of avionics, including radiation, thermal, and vibration testing

âš¡ Requirements

- Experienced electrical engineer with 5+ years of designing electrical hardware for spacecraft or mobile electronic platforms - Proficient in power management design hardware in both analog and digital architectures - Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis of hardware in complex systems - Familiar with transitioning products from R&D to manufacturable and repeatable products - Comfortable working with different serial communication protocols and physical layers
