Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance engineers are responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans for production equipment, assisting maintenance technicians in troubleshooting in daily operation equipment, participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, providing technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians, and assisting in the implementation of EHS and 5S activities in the department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the plan for preventive maintenance.
• Involve in troubleshooting on daily running equipment with malfunction from electrical or mechanical perspective.
• Analyze day-to-day equipment performance and conduct improvement activity with down time or maintenance cost reduction.
• Maintenance record and equipment document keeping which subjects to the quality system.
• Involve in installation and adjustment for new equipment.
• Manage spare parts supplying and inventory; repair materials, alterations & new construction work.
• Involve in EHS and 5S activity.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• College degree in automation, electro-mechanics integration or equivalent major.
• Minimum 3 years experience in PLC programming or troubleshooting automation control systems.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering.
• Good command of English, PC skills and strong EHS awareness.
• Demonstrated ability for on-time performance in a high-pressure work environment.
• Teamwork spirit and positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GE PLC's including the 90-30 or RX7i systems or Siemens PLC is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of CAD drawing tool such AutoCAD.

• Engineering manager, Production manager/engineer, EHS manager/Engineer, maintenance/Facility technicians, Quality manager/Technician, Human Resources, Finance, SCM.

Travel Requirements:

• Less than 10% of travel
