Join us as a Senior Fullstack Engineer (parental leave cover - 15 months) in our Fleet Handling team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!

The Fleet Handling team gives operators and hub teams a clear, reliable, and actionable view of the fleet — ensuring transparent, accurate, and easy-to-manage vehicle status and attributes. We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to support the team during a parental leave cover (15 months).

What You Will Do

1. Design, develop, and optimize services that ensure a clear and actionable overview of the fleet, accompanying the whole vehicle lifecycle from in-fleeting to de-fleeting, providing operators with all the necessary information about their vehicles.
2. Take ownership of critical systems that keep our fleets running.
3. Make informed, data-driven decisions on technologies and tools to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, impactful software
5. Mentor and guide engineers, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
6. Help evolve our architecture, identify technical improvements, and shape the direction of our stack and engineering practices

What Will Help You To Fulfill Your Role

• Ability to conceptualize, plan the implementation of and communicate complex technical ideas
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Typescript, with an interest in both, or similar strongly typed languages
• Experience in working with serverless AWS services, such as Lambda, DynamoDB and SQS or similar services
• Experience with SQS and No-SQL databases
• Experience with infrastructure as a code (i.e. CDK)
• Strong backend engineering experience, comfortable building APIs and distributed systems
• Knowledge of current trends in software design, event-driven architecture and DevOps practices
