Associate Systems Engineer

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Associate Systems Engineer at MKS Ophir, you will work with the R&D team to test and improve new designs in the Beam Profiling product line. In this role, you will report to the Hardware Engineering Manager. You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Designing and setting up test benches for the Laser Beam Profiling product line
  • Performing extensive and careful experiments
  • Collecting and analyzing data and implementing proposed improvements
  • Identifying, analyzing and resolving system design weaknesses
  • Documenting your work in a concise and organized manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or 2+ years relevant experience
  • Understanding of optics basics
  • Experience in a laboratory environment
  • High level of written and spoken technical English

Preferred Skills:

  • Optical systems expertise
  • Innovative researcher
  • Clear and thorough documentation skills
  • Experience with complex data analysis

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Must be available on-site in Jerusalem 5 days a week
