Account Manager Role at Atotech Austria GmbH

In your role as Account Manager, you will be a member of the European Sales Organization in the "General Metal Finishing" sector and a key player in our future growth strategy. You will be responsible for generating new business and for the technical and commercial support of existing customers in Austria, with a focus on Eastern Austria. This role can be executed 100% remotely.

Your responsibilities:

• You have sales responsibility for the assigned customers and the assigned market segment
• Responsibility for the long-term success of existing customers and support in the technical and commercial support and implementation of product and system changes
• You make independent decisions on pricing, contract terms, and negotiation frameworks within the given scope of action and in accordance with company-wide guidelines
• You promote long-term market development through active customer prioritization, identification of new business opportunities, and the introduction of new or improved product solutions
• You represent the company at C-level with strategic customers, in contract negotiations, and at trade fairs, specialist conferences, and industry events
• Active support of organizational changes. You bring impulses for the further development of the sales structure and drive the implementation at local level
• You represent the business manager in internal and customer-related activities if necessary

Your skills and competencies:

• In-depth expertise and professional experience in the field of surface treatment, particularly electroplating
• Several years of experience in the sales of specialty chemicals
• Passion for the sales role, strong negotiation skills, willingness to travel, and initiative
• Resilient and collaborative personality with a strong emotional intelligence
• Excellent communication skills in German and English

The gross monthly salary according to the collective agreement of the chemical industry is at least € 4,483.22 (full-time basis) if all requirements are met. Depending on education and experience, a significant overpayment is possible.
