M&J Engineering is looking for a Project Administrator/Project Engineer with experience in CII in South Florida. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys turning knowledge into action.
• Project Registration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project activities, including plans, documents, and sub-submissions, in accordance with FDOT guidelines.
• Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a point of contact for the owner, contractor, and inspection staff, coordinating communication and addressing project-related issues.
• Inspection Supervision: Review and supervise daily inspection reports and quantity calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Contractor Submissions: Review and manage contractor submissions, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Progress and Final Estimates: Responsible for tracking project progress and preparing final estimates throughout the project's duration.
• Team Leadership: Lead and assign tasks to inspectors and assist in all phases of the project.
• FDOT Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with FDOT policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Construction Project Administration Manual: Familiarity with and compliance with the Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM).
• Degree in Civil Engineering plus two (2) years of engineering experience in major road or bridge construction, or for uncredited personnel, eight (8) years of responsible and related engineering experience, of which two (2) years involved major road or bridge construction.
• Certification CTQP Final Estimates Level II
• Certification FDOT Advanced MOT
• CTQP Quality Control Manager
