Training and Development Engineering Spring Internship

This position will start in the Spring of 2026. It will work closely with both Engineers and Technicians to improve the business condition by providing assistance with improvement activities. This role may include but is not limited to the design, programming, procurement, drawing modification, installation and commissioning of improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance activities such as program backups, battery replacements.
  • Assist with program modifications to improve cycle times; provide accurate data collection; eliminate alarms; etc
  • Complete electrical and mechanical drawing updates, and create new drawings if required.
  • Procure parts required for improvement activities.
  • Assist with the installation of improvement activities.
  • Assist technicians and engineers on a daily basis with machine issues.

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university with a major in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Verbal, written, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents related to the Company's products/processes.
  • Ability to prepare electrical and mechanical drawings and charts.
