Engineering Intern
Engineering Interns at MEAU will contribute to a range of technical and project-based initiatives. Our internships offer valuable opportunities to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting, gain exposure to industry practices, and develop core professional competencies under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Engineering Interns will support one of our engineering teams (Mechatronics, Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, Software and Application) including:
- Technical Assistance: Perform calculations, input data, and assist in the creation of technical drawings and designs using CAD software
- Research & Analysis: Conduct research, analyze performance data, and support testing efforts to address engineering challenges
- Documentation: Draft and revise technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and design specifications
- Project Support: Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination, including safety and risk assessments
- Testing & Prototyping: Participate in the design and execution of tests for equipment and systems; support prototype development
- Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and, where applicable, engage with clients to present findings and provide update
