Overview
At Mitel Greece, we're looking for an HR Generalist who is not only skilled in all things HR, but also passionate about building trusted relationships, creating meaningful employee experiences, and shaping practical and true partnerships with the business.
You'll be the go-to person for managers and employees alike, working across a wide spectrum of HR areas to provide expert guidance, ensure smooth HR operations, and support the implementation of people initiatives that align with our business goals.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of operational and project work, values consistency and reliability, and is motivated by making things work — not just in theory, but in practice.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business managers to provide hands-on, practical support on people-related matters.
- Lead or participate in local HR initiatives, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and compensation processes.
- Offer clear, balanced advice on employee relations, development, performance, and day-to-day people management.
- Drive the implementation and adaptation of HR policies, tools, and processes to meet business needs — ensuring compliance without losing sight of common sense.
- Support and contribute to recurring HR processes such as salary reviews, BSC performance cycles, and internal mobility efforts.
- Maintain accurate HR data and reporting to support visibility, decision-making, and compliance.
- Act as a key point of contact between HR and the business, helping ensure smooth coordination and communication.
- Stay current on labor law, market practices, and internal compliance requirements to ensure effective risk management.
- Act as a culture ambassador, helping to maintain high levels of engagement and positive employee experience.
Requirements
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in generalist HR roles, ideally in an international, business-focused environment.
- Understanding of Greek labor law and core HR practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a calm and consistent presence.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong business acumen with a consultative mindset and a focus on solutions.
