Thread Molding Operator

Set up, adjust, repair, and change out tooling on machines and equipment used in molding lead and nylon threads on products. Operate all relevant machinery and equipment efficiently and safely. Inspect products for quality using blueprints, gauges, and other measuring tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards. Work under general supervision and perform tasks across classifications as needed. Carry out additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Ability to sit or stand and perform highly repetitive tasks for up to ten hours. Full mobility including walking, hearing, seeing, and using both hands effectively. Ability to lift and carry 50 lb. cartons from a height of 6" to 48", at a rate of approximately 40 per hour, and move them a distance of 3 feet to a pallet. Ability to push loaded skids using 20 lbs. of force over a distance of 6 feet, periodically.
