The Surveillance and Reprocessing Engineer II role is an experienced level position performing routine to moderately complex engineering functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature by applying standard mathematical, physical science, and/or engineering technologies.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time. Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited university in Engineering or Physics. 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, analytical, or related technical activities. Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business. United States Citizenship. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job. Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
Demonstrated analytical skills, mathematical computations, computer software applications, and written documentation. Demonstrated established technical methodologies to routine engineering projects. Ability to analyze engineering drawings and specifications to develop effective acceptance processes and improve existing processes. Familiarization with GDandT Concepts.
