Position Overview:

In this strategic leadership role, you will leverage financial insights and analysis to support decision-making on platform investments and implement proactive cost-efficiency opportunities. You will develop financial strategies aligned with the organization's long-term goals, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support platform objectives. Additionally, you will evaluate the financial implications of platform technology decisions, optimize financial performance, and provide guidance on technology investments to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to aligning financial and technical objectives.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

Leverage financial insights to support strategic decision-making on platform investments and cost-efficiency opportunities; Develop financial strategies aligned with the organization's long-term goals and objectives; Drive initiatives with senior leadership to ensure effective allocation of financial resources for platform objectives; Develop and steer an Application Operation capability portfolio roadmap, integrating Bayer's D-Hub strategy; Evaluate the financial implications of platform technology decisions and optimize financial performance; Provide financial guidance on technology investments to support scalability, security, and reliability; Lead cross-functional teams to develop platform budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; Provide financial training and guidance to platform teams to ensure adherence to financial policies; Facilitate collaboration between finance and technology teams to align financial and technical objectives; Drive product and capability demand alignment with other platforms.

Who You Are:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Proficiency in financial analysis techniques to evaluate the financial implications of investments; Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes to allocate financial resources effectively; Knowledge of cost management principles to optimize spending and ensure cost-effectiveness in IT operations; Ability to generate accurate financial reports and dashboards to track and communicate financial performance; Understanding of financial regulations and governance standards relevant to IT operations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks; Strong leadership skills to drive strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to align financial and technical objectives.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $168,564.00 - $252,846.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
