Senior DevOps Engineer

Our client is a large U.S. financial institution and Fortune 500 company operating a significant branch and ATM network across multiple states. The organization provides a broad range of banking services and maintains a long history through predecessor institutions dating back to the early 20th century. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $85.00 to $95.00/hr. W2

Responsibilities

Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or similar platforms. Automate deployments and infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Support Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application environments. Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes. Troubleshoot production issues across systems, applications, and networks. Collaborate with engineering teams to strengthen reliability and deployment workflows.

Experience Requirements

5+ years in SRE, Systems Engineering, DevOps, Software Development, or Platform Engineering. Strong background with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms. Intermediate-level experience with Terraform. Solid scripting or programming experience in Go, Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar. Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and production environments. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or CloudWatch. Experience working in Agile environments (preferred). Experience in highly regulated environments (preferred). Experience with Consul or Vault for service discovery and secrets management (preferred). Background supporting multiple cloud environments and regions (preferred).

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
