Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join the Quality team in Berkeley, MO. This position is seeking Quality Engineers who are passionate about problem solving, engaging with the production system and doing complex data analysis. Quality Engineers support existing production through process improvement techniques involving defect reduction, verification system design and improvements, and ensures compliance to requirements. Our quality engineers get involved in complex engineering and production challenges and have a critical role in the continuous improvement of our quality management system, products and production system.
This position will support the F-18 aircraft production line, performing trend analysis, leading and participating in problem-solving and investigations, as well as performing root cause analysis. Successful candidates will have experience performing data analysis, working in a cross-functional environment and providing recommendations based upon findings to leadership in a fast-paced production environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
More than 1 year of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions
Experience root cause analysis and corrective action
3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with regulatory requirements
Experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment
Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
