Oracle Cloud Network Operations Center Network Engineer

The Oracle Cloud Network Operations Center is looking for experienced network engineers to join our team and support the growing network. The network operations center is responsible for repair and network availability on all of OCI's global network. The resources on this team will support the Tier 1 GNOC as an escalation resource, with additional focus on network availability of OCI's global backbone and internet connectivity. Location: Hybrid from any of the OCI hub locations: Seattle, Santa Clara, Reston, Nashville, Austin or Broomfield.

Responsibilities

• Global backbone and internet provider experience
• Troubleshooting & escalating 3rd party provider problems
• MPLS/RSVP-TE Backbone
• Internet connectivity, transit, peering, and IX
• BGP
• Experience being the last tier of support
• Managing ongoing network availability projects
• Working with (or building) automation & tools to help assist network availability

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $86,400 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
