Information Service Technical Analyst
GovCIO is currently hiring an Information Service Technical Analyst to support our newly awarded customer contract. This position will be fully remote within the United States and part-time with 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support for computers and associated networks.
- Installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing personal computers, network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors.
- Providing personal computer, hardware, and software support.
- Installing, servicing, and repairing personal computers and installing attendant software.
- Connecting personal computers and terminals to existing data networks.
- Maintaining network diagrams and circuit records.
- Maintaining trouble logs.
- Instructing users in the use of personal computers and networks.
- Investigating information, network, and communications needs of users, and making recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
- Performing basic PC, PBX, and network software programming.
- Conferring with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
- Installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
- Answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients or staff in person, via telephone or from a remote location.
- Maintaining records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions.
- Developing training materials and procedures, and/or training users in the proper use of hardware and software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s with 5-8 years (or commensurate experience) required.
- Clearance Required: Must have an active AOUSC Public Trust.

Posted Pay Range: USD $44,400.00 - USD $44,400.00 /Yr.
