Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Embedded Software or Firmware Engineer to join our team, specializing in working with RTOS platforms. This role requires an individual who demonstrates agility in their skill sets and work history, contributing to innovative and technical excellence in firmware engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of embedded software or firmware solutions on RTOS platforms.
• Utilize C++ programming to design and implement software components.
• Apply machine learning and vision technologies, including OpenCV, to enhance product capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and innovation.
• Participate in both office and laboratory environments to balance desk-based and hands-on work.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Firmware/Embedded Software across various environments.
• Proficiency in C++ programming language.
• Experience with RTOS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of vision technologies, particularly OpenCV.
• Machine learning expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Local candidates with availability to work on-site 4 days a week.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to different technical challenges and environments.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Webster Groves, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
