Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

This job posting is anticipated to remain open for 30 days, from 11-Nov-2025. The posting may close early due to the volume of applicants.

Team Overview: This role is part of the overall Exposure Management function, and it will focus on understanding the solutioning and remediation of vulnerabilities. This role will bring together different teams throughout the firm to remediate vulnerabilities and ultimately make the organization more secure.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the identification, analysis, solutioning, and leading remediation efforts for vulnerabilities identified across the firm's environment.
  • Using the firm's available resources, identify the ownership of the vulnerability.
  • Discuss potential solution(s) with the vulnerability owner and determine the potential remediation methods.
  • Research technical improvements and vulnerabilities and takes the initiative to communicate/implement solutions.
  • Participates and represents area in cross-functional groups.
  • Communicates issues and problem resolutions with all affected stakeholders, business areas and vendors.
  • Researches requirements to determine system feasibility, costs, benefits, or functional requirements.
  • Ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources.

Hiring Minimum: $99,200

Hiring Maximum: $168,900

Skills/Requirements

What Experience You'll Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications or Engineering preferred or related work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience directly related to technical area of expertise.
  • Considered a subject matter expert in an I.S. discipline (business solutions, systems development, infrastructure area, planning, security) and have experience across multiple platforms in an area or multiple technologies in a layer (network, computing, operating systems, data, application infrastructure, appliances, business solutions, security, systems management);
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide strategic direction and technical leadership to align objectives with the overall Firm strategy
  • Ability to influence Team Leaders, Project Leaders and/or associates in a matrix organization.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business areas, and vendors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and participate in multiple large and complex efforts or projects.
  • Knowledge of brokerage or financial company processes.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work.
  • Embraces change and considers different approaches to issues.
  • Takes personal responsibility to improve processes and systems.
  • Strong understanding of project management concepts.
  • Presents ideas, thoughts, arguments, and information persuasively. Seen as credible and trustworthy.
  • The capacity to quickly understand a broad range of emerging technologies and the ability to apply and exploit target technology to support firm objectives.
  • Knowledgeable in globalization (g11n), particularly with respect to technology design and deployment for a multi-national firm.
  • Experienced in system development methodologies and I.S. processes.

Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
