Spectrum Internship Experience

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. You're a motivated graduate student with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a degree in one of the following areas listed below from an accredited college or university:

  • Human Resources
  • I/O Psychology

This is a full-time, 10-week program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice. Internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026. In addition to the role-based projects you'll work on, you'll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor.

The Spectrum Internship Experience

You'll join one of our departments for the summer, where you'll contribute to meaningful projects that give you insight into what it's like to work at a leading connectivity company. You'll have access to:

What You Can Expect In This Role

As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams — your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.

Internship Responsibilities May Include

This internship will support multiple key initiatives on the Compensation team and offers an ideal opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the compensation field (one of multiple fields within the Human Resources function). Specifically, this position will assist the team in providing day to day analysis, planning, design and administration of company compensation programs and processes in support of the Compensation department, whose role is to assist the Company in obtaining and retain talent through the strategic approach of compensation for maximum organizational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a graduate degree.
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

  • Analytical skills, excel skills, data analysis and statistics, accounting
