Position Description: As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead our engineering team in driving process improvements, scaling production, and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies in our fast-growing chiller manufacturing plant. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that improve efficiency, cost, and quality while supporting business growth. You will be the main driver for automation and semi-automation activities. Be able to use lean and 80/20 as tools to move the business forward. Must be able to manage several projects at one time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing and process engineers.
• Lead complex process improvement projects to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement long-term manufacturing strategies, including automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, production, supply chain) to launch new products and processes efficiently.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across the plant to improve overall operational performance.
• Manage capital investment projects, including equipment selection, implementation, and validation.
• Develop and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Maintain and monitor KPIs to track productivity, quality, and engineering performance.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Required Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in an industrial or HVAC-related field. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with manufacturing simulation and CAD tools. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills. Proven track record of leading Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment.
