Data Center Technician

TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Canton, MS to hire a Data Center Technician with at least 1 year of mechanical or electrical experience. This technician will support daily operations at a data center, focusing on maintaining critical systems and ensuring smooth facility performance. Responsibilities include assisting and overseeing technicians, vendors, and contractors on-site. Perform maintenance on systems like generators, UPS, cooling equipment, and power distribution. Monitor building systems and respond to routine and emergency issues. Work with IT and operations teams to manage projects and improve efficiency. Help with new facility build-outs and upgrades. Track inventory and manage assets. Ensure high-quality service and meet customer needs. Requirements include 1+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or facility operations. Interest in data center infrastructure and systems. Pay and benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
