Located in vibrant downtown hubs including New York, Denver, Nashville, Washington D.C., and Dallas, Mint House provides all the essentials for routine living on the road.

The role involves leading day-to-day operations in the Dallas / Fort Worth market. This position will oversee approximately 120 managed apartment units across 3 properties and support the continued growth of the market. The Operations Manager is responsible for delivering a seamless and memorable experience for every guest, working closely with the Market Lead to uphold Mint House's high standards of service, cleanliness, and property condition.

This is a hands-on role that requires regular travel between the three properties, so the ability to commute within the Dallas / Fort Worth area is essential.

You'll directly oversee both in-house and contract employees, ensuring all team members are equipped and aligned to deliver consistent results. When the Market Lead is away, you'll serve as the "manager on duty," making key operational decisions and maintaining the smooth flow of daily operations.

At Mint House You Will

  • Responsible for developing vendor relationships, performing housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our apartments to deliver a seamless experience to our guests and ensure rooms are up to brand standards.
  • Lead troubleshooting and maintenance of technical issues, including (but not limited to) WiFi connectivity, TV setup, light bulb replacements, and overseeing contractor appointments.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with the corporate team to implement standards and procedures in conjunction with the Market Lead.
  • Prioritize, delegate, execute, and support day-to-day tasking of our Associates to create a personalized guest experience and team accountability.
  • Take charge of Associate coverage when needed, ensuring efficient management and coordination to provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Conduct regular room inspections and actively engage with the housekeeping team to address and follow up on any maintenance or cleanliness concerns, contributing to a consistently high standard of guest experience.
  • Support our Associates by training, coaching, and providing performance feedback with an eye towards execution.
  • Promote a guest-centric culture to drive exceptional results and a positive environment.
  • Give real time feedback and communication to our Guest Agents and Supervisors to consistently meet expectations in a timely manner.

We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years of hotel management experience at a boutique hotel or extended stay.
  • Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional people skills and has hired, trained, coached, and managed hourly employees.
  • Comfort with new tech-stacks and using mobile apps while interacting with guests at the property level.
  • Honest, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and with a team.
  • Confident to take charge and problem solve when needed.
  • Process-oriented skill sets to successfully manage vendor relationships i.e. housekeeping, linen/laundry, maintenance, etc.
  • Be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Compensation Range: $50,000 - $60,000 USD
