Water Wastewater Engineer

We are seeking a civil engineer to join our team within the water/wastewater industry. You will be working with a small to medium-sized team on a variety of projects, focusing on water conveyance systems, water piping, and treatment plants for clients both locally and nationally. Your responsibilities will include reviewing engineering plans and writing technical reports on issues or findings. Direct client interaction will be part of your role, making previous experience as a project manager valuable.

Responsibilities:

• Review engineering plans for water conveyance systems, piping, and treatment plants.
• Write technical reports detailing issues or findings.
• Work directly with clients on projects.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Essential Skills:

• Civil engineering experience: 6+ years
• Water/wastewater engineering experience: 3+ years
• Project management experience: 2+ years
• Proficiency in Civil 3D
• Experience in land development and wastewater treatment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with water treatment plants is beneficial.
• Intention to take or recent acquisition of PE certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

You will be working with our team in Woodbury, typically interacting with 3-4 colleagues regularly. The role includes limited travel and field work, mainly to job sites around the Twin Cities. We offer a flexible schedule with the option to work in the office two days a week, allowing you to choose your consistent office days. You can also opt to be in the office more frequently if desired. Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $128,000.00/yr. Offers benefits to all their employees, including a 401K match as well as medical benefits.

Workplace Type:

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul, MN.
