What you'll do

• Gain hands-on experience in a lab setting, testing thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties of advanced materials
• Support real-world projects focused on thermal management of electronic devices across industries such as data communications, telecommunications, aerospace, and industrial automation
• Test new product formulations for our brand Bergquist to validate performance against customer requirements and industry standards
• Compile and analyze test data, creating detailed reports and PowerPoint presentations for internal teams and customer engagement
• Generate clear, comparative graphs of material properties to support product portfolio evaluations
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to troubleshoot and improve testing methods and product performance

What makes you a good fit

• A rising junior or rising senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or Environmental Science
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on lab experience with material testing and data documentation.
• Familiarity with safe chemical handling procedures and lab safety protocols.

Additional information

• This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
• Henkel's Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.
• Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.
