Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing full cycle recruitment and staffing services to Direct Care and Treatment. Working collaboratively as part of the DCT Human Resources team, this position will execute day-to-day recruitment activities which include partnering with hiring managers to understand their particular business needs, creating strategic recruitment plans, driving talent pipeline development, and providing consistent updates on recruitment progress. Other duties may include:
- Develop and maintain foundational relationships with labor unions, management, community and diversity organizations, and higher education institutions.
- Attend job fairs and networking events to connect with job seekers and promote career opportunities.
- Continuously network and research opportunities for new partnerships (i.e. community partners, workforce development programs, diversity job boards/organizations, niche job boards, associations).
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to hiring managers and supervisors in the areas of recruitment, retention, and compensation.
- Work closely with other human resources teams such as transactions, leave management, and labor relations to understand their work and support their business processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in recruiting, sourcing, and building talent pipelines. Experience must demonstrate:
- Full cycle recruiting
- Sourcing candidates from different platforms, such as, Indeed and LinkedIn
- Posting jobs on various job boards
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Reviewing resumes and interacting with and selecting top talent
