Senior Health Services is looking for pharmacy students in their second year to assist with the quality improvement metrics for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Medicare population. Fully remote, full time paid summer internship. Equipment will be provided. Interns are required to work 40 hours per week from mid-May to mid-August the summer between P2 and P3 year. Primary responsibilities include telephonic outreach to patients and providers to support CMS Stars measures such as Medication Adherence and Statin Use in Persons with Diabetes (SUPD). Opportunities to learn about several aspects of Part D insurance and practice in a managed care pharmacy setting.
