Job Overview

As a Sr. Sales Content Writer, you'll create high-impact, sales-focused content that helps our Sales and SDR teams drive new pipeline, accelerate deals, and grow revenue with existing customers. You'll work closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales Enablement to develop messaging and assets tailored to specific buyer personas — from CHRO and CIO decision-makers to talent acquisition leaders — and different stages of the customer journey. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales, blending sharp writing skills with a deep understanding of what moves buyers to act. You'll own projects end-to-end, collaborate cross-functionally, and help ensure our revenue teams are equipped with compelling, relevant, and conversion-focused content. As a Sr. Sales Content Writer, you'll join the award-winning iCIMS Creative Studio, where designers, writers, strategists and operations experts collaborate to push each other creatively and achieve strategic business outcomes together. Responsibilities

Partner with Sales, SDR, and Marketing teams to create content that supports prospecting, deal acceleration, and customer expansion

Develop and maintain the Sales messaging deck, delivering quarterly refreshes to ensure relevance and alignment with market trends

Write weekly demand generation–oriented email templates for Sales and BDR outreach, including 2 per month targeting the talent acquisition audience and 2 per month targeting the CIO/CFO audience

Produce original customer cross-sell assets and supporting email blasts in partnership with the Demand Generation team

Create business value assets such as iCIMS Customer KPIs, ROI calculators, and proof points to strengthen value-based selling

Develop and distribute a weekly email to Sales highlighting impactful content and upcoming Marketing initiatives

Drive sales enablement and adoption of Marketing content and tools, ensuring reps understand how and when to use assets effectively

Create persona-driven assets for executive buyers (e.g., CIO, CFO), tailored for mid- and late-stage opportunities

Develop content kits for specific campaigns, verticals, or product launches, ensuring sales teams have ready-to-use outreach materials

Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure consistency with messaging and brand guidelines

Monitor and report on sales content usage and performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization

Optimize content for Sales/field usage, incorporating feedback from Sales and tracking performance

Manage multiple content projects at once, meeting deadlines and adapting priorities as needed

Qualifications

3–6 years of experience in B2B content marketing, copywriting, or sales enablement (SaaS or technology preferred)

Proven ability to create compelling, conversion-focused content for sales teams

Strong understanding of B2B buyer personas, sales cycles, and demand generation tactics

Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on clarity and persuasion

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and incorporating feedback quickly

Current SEO and content marketing knowledge

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required

Preferred

Familiarity with sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft) a plus

SharePoint, WordPress, or Highspot experience a plus

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Experience with Wrike or similar project management system a plus

Compensation and Benefits

We accept applications for this position on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and qualified candidates may be contacted throughout the posting period. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $70,000-$85,000.00 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. This range aligns with our commitment to equitable and transparent compensation practices, as required by applicable law.
