Sr Product Designer (financial Services) - Remote Eligible

Sr Product Designer

Our financial services client is seeking a creative and experienced Sr Product Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating user-centered designs that enhance user experience and drive product success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions that meet business needs and user expectations. This role is set to start mid-September and go through mid-March. It is 40 hrs/week and remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define design requirements and create user-centered design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Conduct usability testing and user research to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
• Utilize design thinking methodologies to solve complex design problems and deliver innovative solutions.
• Develop and maintain design specifications and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
• Strong understanding of user interface (UI) design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Experience in prototyping, wireframing, and conducting usability testing.
• Knowledge of responsive design, typography, color theory, and user research methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative design processes.
