Interim Social Services Designee Opportunity

Sterling Park Senior Living (a 40 bed skilled nursing facility) has the opportunity to welcome an Interim Social Services Designee to cover a leave of absence for! You would work with our current Social Services Designee for 2-3 months for a smooth transition and then cover her 3 month leave. Our Social Services Designees excel at serving, protecting and advocating for our residents and families. JOB SUMMARY: Social Services Designees are responsible for the operations of the Social Services Department, providing for each resident's social, emotional and psychological needs, and the continuing development of the resident's full potential from admission to discharge. Assists in the education regarding aging, Resident Rights, facility services, etc. Participates and contributes as a member of interdepartmental teams (IDT, QAPI), following all established policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: Post-Secondary education with a bachelor's degree in Social Work and/or related field preferred. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, families, and employees. Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
