Fairview is looking for a Service and Product Assistant at Southdale Medical Center in Edina, MN. This is a .8 FTE (64 hours every two weeks) day position and will require you to be able to work every weekend. This position is a member of the SEIU union.

To receive, deliver, replenish, clean, and maintain appropriate equipment/supplies/linen/forms. To assist with maintaining inventory control.

Responsibilities:

• Keep supplies, equipment, and linens clean, stocked, and ready for use in all areas.
• Help make sure there are enough items on hand by checking and counting supplies often.
• Bring needed items to nurses and other staff quickly, especially in emergencies.
• Clean and sanitize tools, machines, and patient care equipment to keep everyone safe.
• Work with other team members to solve problems, share updates, and keep good communication.
• Follow hospital rules, protect patient privacy, and do other tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
