Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior HR Operations Assurance Consultant to join our HR Operations and Service Delivery Employee Care team. This team plays a critical role in delivering support to employees and managers across a range of specialized services, including HR Escalations, Specialty Services, Survivor Support, End-to-End Retirement Support, and comprehensive business and operations assurance support. In this role, you will:
Control Ownership and Governance: Serve as a Control Owner for designated processes, ensuring controls are documented, tested, and monitored per policy. Maintain accountability for lifecycle activities including design, execution, and remediation.
Enhanced QA Control Refinement: Lead initiatives to refine QA controls, migrate QA activities to centralized teams, and strengthen evidence retention and validation processes.
Operations Assurance Leadership: Support accurate completion of RCSA deliverables, proactively identify deficiencies, and guide remediation efforts to minimize trailing issues.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement projects aimed at automation, simplification, and enhanced control effectiveness. Promote best practices and self-identification of issues.
Risk Management and Reporting: Monitor control performance, document controls, report on QA and QC results, and escalate thematic concerns. Manage emerging risks, issue management, changes and reporting. Contribute to governance routines and compliance reviews.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR service delivery teams, functional leaders, and risk partners to align operational assurance activities with organizational priorities.
Coaching and Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members on control design, documentation, QA methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Human Resources operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Risk and Control Expertise: Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, RCSA processes, and internal control policies. Ability to identify control gaps, document controls and recommend and execute remediation strategies.
Quality Assurance Acumen: Experience designing and executing QA programs, including control testing, evidence reviews, and monitoring methodologies. Familiarity with QA tools and centralized control inventories.
Process Improvement Skills: Proven ability to analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement automation or simplification strategies to enhance control health and operational efficiency.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow, and comfort with data analysis for control validation and reporting.
Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional ability to partner with process owners, control owners, and cross-functional teams to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Skilled in diagnosing systemic issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
Proactive Mindset: Ability to anticipate risks, identify improvement opportunities, and take initiative without waiting for direction and escalate when necessary.
Collaborative Approach: Proven success working across functions and teams to achieve shared goals and resolve complex issues.

Pay Range: Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $87,000.00 - $154,000.00
