A postdoctoral research fellow position is available in the Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering. The candidate will join a project aimed at developing a "living pharmacy" platform. This platform is an implantable bioelectronic device carrying cells that produce therapy in the human body. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced moonshot project funded by the ARPA-H. Looking for candidates with expertise in tissue engineering and biomaterials with emphasis on transplanting engineered constructs or devices into animals.
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.

Compensation Detail: $64,079 - $74,963 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
