In this professional RN role, you will provide nutrition and health assessments, determine nutrition risk, eligibility for WIC (Women, Infants and Children), provide nutritional education, prescribe appropriate supplemental food based on participants category, needs, and preferences, and interact with community members, organizations, and internal partners. St. Louis County does not participate in E-Verify. All employees must be continuously authorized to work in the United States, for St. Louis County, on a full-time basis. Distinguishing Features of Work An employee in this class is responsible for reviewing client needs as required according to federal and state program eligibility criteria. Duties may include providing comprehensive assessments, educational counseling, and providing case management and care coordination depending on the program area. The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Pass/Fail): Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree in Nursing. Possession of a current Minnesota Registered Nurse license. Possession of a valid driver's license.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS BY PROGRAM AREA (Pass/Fail): Nutrition - Based Programs: Two (2) years full-time paid verifiable experience in nursing.
