Quality Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer with a strong background in Quality Management. This role involves leading certification processes, managing documentation, and maintaining quality management programs. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in developing and implementing quality systems to meet industry standards, particularly within the medical device field.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of certification activities.
• Develop and implement quality system procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Conduct gap analysis and internal audits to assess readiness for certification.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance.
• Train staff on requirements and quality system processes.
• Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), non-conformance, and risk management documentation.
• Interface with external auditors and certification bodies.
• Support validation and verification documentation for new and existing products.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in quality engineering and quality management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and medical device regulations.
• Proficiency in quality documentation and audit processes.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with leading high-impact certification initiatives.
• Strong communication and training skills.

Work Environment:

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
