As a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor, you will make an impact by leading and motivating a team of professionals, setting goals, and driving achievement. You will own and optimize cell productivity, guide scheduling & sequencing of work, and foster a collaborative, achievement-driven environment. You will approach each day with a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for innovations optimizing production. You will utilize active listening, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues while working under pressure. Well-developed organizational and time management skills along with the ability to effectively prioritize and allocate resources are foundational for success in this role.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
• Guide cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
• Plan and execute scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules.
• Guide the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity.
• Facilitate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
• Guide production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities.
• Collaborate with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.
• Ensure all employees have a safety-first mindset and are adhering to EH&S policies.
• Execute production plan in line with the MPS (Master Production Schedule) to achieve on time delivery, hours, and efficiency commitments.
• Real time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management.
• Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates.
• Pulse survey participation, listening to feedback and driving improvement actions.
• Lead and conducts meetings/reviews and prepares information to communicate the status of the programs to internal and external customers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices _or_ in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• LEAN certification.
• SAP proficiency.
• STEM degree or background.
• Collaborative leadership behaviors that emphasize high goal setting, team empowerment and providing support.
• Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early, and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
