Post Consumer Brands is seeking motivated interns for a 12-week summer experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations. This immersive program offers hands-on exposure to plant operations, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives within a purpose-driven, consumer-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Project Execution: Manage or assist with small to mid-sized capital projects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement solutions.
  • Provide engineering support to enhance plant performance.
  • Data & Process Optimization: Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement changes to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • People & Process Development: Develop and deploy standard work processes.
  • Assess workforce dynamics and support training enhancements.
  • Learn to lead change and influence team outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree or at an institution with an accredited program in Engineering graduating December 2026 or May 2027.
  • Completed coursework and have an understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • A high level of competence in computer applications and the ability to use technology as a decision-support tool.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate tactical methods to achieve objectives, identify deviations from the plan, and facilitate resolution.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and use discretion within and outside of the organization.
  • Previous internship or work experience (strongly preferred).
  • Interest in the consumer packaged goods/manufacturing industry with the desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation (strongly preferred).
