As a Guest Services Specialist, you will ensure the efficient flow of 24-hour communications by processing calls through Lakeview Hospital and monitoring the alarms and security of the Curve Crest, Somerset, and Mahtomedi clinics while providing a professional and courteous service. This position greets and directs patients and visitors and continually monitors all safety equipment, alarms, and security cameras. It provides clerical and data entry support for various departments. This position provides an after hour answering service for the Homecare and Hospice departments. The Guest Service Specialist acts as a liaison between the hospital and security guards via cell phone and two-way radio and will maintain the security process which includes visitor and vendor sign-in's, after hours visitor screening, and overhead announcements. This position is located both at the hospital front desk and down in the communications booth as outlined above. Additional functions of the front desk staff include greeting patients, visitors, and vendors, wayfinding, and transport assistance within the facility. Front desk staff are in a patient care area and may be subject to additional restrictions. This position may also be asked to assist in the training of new employees at both the front desk and booth locations.
Work Schedule: Casual, Evening - Wednesdays 2:30-11pm in the booth and every Sunday and Friday at the front desk 4:30pm - 8:30pm
