Nutrition Services Aide

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide for our Fairview Lakes Location in Wyoming, MN! This is a part time position offering about 38 hours over a 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible!

The Nutrition Services Aide prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner, serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.

Schedule:

Week 1:

• Tue: 6am-2:30 pm
• Wed: 6am-2:30pm
• Sat: 4pm-7:30pm

Week 2:

• Tue: 6am-2:30pm
• Wed: 6am-2:30pm

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated area
• Prepares and delivers patient nourishments and tube feeding per department standards
• Plates and serves food
• Accurately place correct item on tray in proper location in accordance with department productivity standards
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctor's dining rooms and other non-patient locations
• Accurately operates cash register

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language
• Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
