Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electric, propane, and diesel equipment. Responsibilities include:

• Repair, diagnose, inspect, and maintain all equipment for customer work orders.
• Travel to customer sites to fix equipment.
• Communicate with customers on diagnosed repairs and obtain approvals.
• Provide estimates for repairs when appropriate.
• Repair, service, recondition, or assemble equipment as approved by the customer or Service Manager.
• Make mechanical repairs after completing an inspection and analysis of breakdowns.
• Record complete repair descriptions on work orders, including model and serial numbers and hour meter readings.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of mechanic experience or education related to the position.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Skills in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel maintenance.
• Field service experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety manuals, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication skills with customers or employees.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Must provide own tools; annual tool incentive provided.

Work Environment:

Work hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, involving both indoor and outdoor activities. This role requires physical strength to move 75 to 100 pounds occasionally, 40 to 50 pounds frequently, and 15 to 20 pounds constantly.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $74880.00/yr. Full benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance. Uniforms are provided and laundered by company. Annual Tool Incentive. Company paid Rx Safety Glasses.

Workplace Type:

This is a fully onsite position in Owatonna, MN.
