Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of the facility's mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. This includes the operation of boilers, HVAC systems, and energy management controls. The technician ensures all work is performed in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including requirements set forth by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). This role may include after-hours, weekend, or on-call responsibilities as required to support facility operations and patient care.

What We Are Looking For:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid Second Class "B" Boilers License.

• Must have valid Driver's License.

• Moderate computer skills, including the ability to operate energy management systems and maintenance or work order software.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related trade such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.

• Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulatory compliance standards preferred.

• Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or building systems preferred.
