Sheet Metal Fabricator

This position involves assisting in various areas of the shop, predominantly working with sheet metal on brake presses, shears, rollers, and more. The role requires flexibility to help in the CNC department and other areas as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate brake presses, shears, rollers, and other sheet metal machinery.
• Assist in the CNC department when required.
• Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication tasks.
• Use calipers and other measuring tools for precision work.
• Perform assembly tasks using power tools.
• Contribute to fabrication processes and float between multiple departments as needed.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in machine operation and assembly.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using calipers.
• Mechanical inclination and ability to work in a job shop environment.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and machining processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or strong mechanical inclination.
• Ability to flexibly move between different departments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
