Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking an Engineer / Maintenance Technician for its team. Schedule/Hours: Business hours with a weekend and holiday rotation. Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Engineering Manager and Environmental Services Director. About This Community: Boutwells Landing, 5600 Norwich Parkway, Oak Park Heights, MN 55082. Responsibilities: The Engineer is responsible for working independently as well as participating in team initiatives to execute assignments by site leadership. Create a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices. Execute assigned responsibilities for buildings and grounds as defined by the site leadership to include building and equipment repair, troubleshooting complex problems, working with contractors and vendors, maintaining life safety systems, preventive maintenance routines, completion of daily work orders, building, grounds, and equipment maintenance, painting, apartment turns, building maintenance, customer requests, snow removal, pool care, and other projects as assigned.
Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in commercial or residential building maintenance. Able to work independently, multitask, follow directions, and work under supervision. Relate well and provide a professional image and services to all customers. Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers. Must be able to participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation consisting of one week on-call at a frequency depending on the size of the on-call group.
Pay Range: The estimated starting pay range for this role is $26.33 - $30.12 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each individual employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
Benefits: Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week: health, and dental, including applicable HSA & FSA, employer contribution to HSA for eligible health plans, life insurance (AD&D), retirement, with eligibility for an employer match, holiday pay, and extended sick.
